For many years my company used a Sony Handycam for video documentation on projects. The videos are all in MPG format. They videos always played fine in Windows Media Player on Windows 7 and still do. However, in Windows 8.1 and 10 I get no video, only audio, when playing in Windows Media Player. The newer Movies & TV app doesn't play them at all.
