I searched the interwebs and found that changing the x1 box audio output in the settings to stereo (was set up to automatic Dolby 5.1) fixes it, however obviously hurts the audio output. But I'd rather have slightly worse audio than audio out of sync as it felt like I was watching telemundo in English.

Audio out of sync. This is still an ongoing problem with the audio being out of sync with the video. It is not getting better in fact it is getting worse. please provide a response and solution for this issue. It is quite annoying.
