This means that it is usually effectively impossible to combine or "aggregate" two or more professional audio interfaces when using Windows. Since many Digital Audio Workstation applications can only …

On Mac, it is possible to choose different interfaces as Input and Output device in Live. It's also possible to combine multiple audio interfaces into an aggregate device at a system level. Creating an aggregate device is a way to group multiple audio interfaces into one virtual device so that Live can communicate with a single, solitary virtual audio interface.

Not natively no. You can't configure multiple interfaces to be active at once in Live itself. On mac you can make "aggregate" interfaces in OSX which combine interfaces, then select that aggregate in Ableton. It's sort of a work around, depending on what you're doing. Not sure if there's any 3rd party thing that will do that in Windows though.

In Studio One you can set up Templates... I have several for using 2 interfaces... set up your interfaces and I/O structure and set up a studio one session... save this as a template and then simply select it before you start a session... I set up several different session type Templates so it is always a simple click to get it going.
