Nagaoka suggests insanely low capacitance for loading, 150 pF. This is just about impossible to achieve no matter what and how short cable is used. However here's very interesting info what happens with MP11 (current model is MP110) when capacitance is increased to 620 pF: I have MP 200 but I don't know are all Nagaokas the same electrically.

Nagaoka MP 110 vs. Ortofon 2M RED - Audio & Video Forums

Back in the days and I mean the late 70's and very early 80's a local audio store carried the Nagaoka cartridges. I purchased one and liked the sound. I used it in a fairly heavy S shaped tonearm on a Kenwood ttable. I owned it too long ago to comment on the sound. I do remeber it was a good match for a higher mass arm.
