Weird audio problem with Quake 4 in Windows 10. Absolutely could not install Quake 4 from disc onto Windows 10. Copied files from my old PC running Vista and now Quake 10 works, but in the audio I hear machine noises, weapons fire, Strogg noises, but only beeps when another Marine is talking or when a voice is coming over the radio.

tbh, i couldn't tell shit in UT200X, and in Q4 its much easier to locate people. using default on both. since UT2004 had huge problems with EAX, i couldn't use it. but in Quake 4, it works great and makes it even t hat much easier.

Quake 4 Sound Issue. So I installed Quake 4 on my Dell G5 5505. The Audio menu tells me my sound card (which is integrated, being that this is a laptop) doesn't support OpenAL.
