Emulator Problem: NullDC running slow - The Emulator Zone

    https://forums.emulator-zone.com/index.php?threads/nulldc-running-slow.18906/
I am trying to play Sonic Adventures 2 on NullDC, but the game runs slow (runs at around 20-30% speed). I tried messing with the options, to no avail. Although, once I disabled Dynarec, the game seemed to run faster (80-90%) but it became glitchy, and the sound was not synced. Do you guys...

If you can run nullDC, then you have all the necessary plugins, and audio does work. If you haven't changed the default plugins, then the default sound plugin has the Sync to Audio option in its configuration options under Options --> Aica. The only plugin that will work atm is the empty aica no sound plugin,

Can't Play Skies of Arcadia Legends W/O Audio Lag?

I switched over to the dreamcast emulator, NullDC, and it seems to work perfectly. But I ran into something very specific/interesting that I thought might help the dolphin developers. In the AICA plugin for NullDC I tried setting the sound buffer size to 4096 from 2048 and it caused the same audio lag I'm having right now in dolphin.

I am currently trying to get NullDC up and running but so far it runs really slow for most of the games I have. Power Stone 1 runs OK but Zombie Revenge and MvC2 run so very slow. I heard that maybe if I use Chanka sound plugin it would run faster but I don't know what file is the Chanka sound plugin.

nullDC mostly unplayable : emulation - reddit

Using nullDC 1.40 SVN r150 I've tried to play Maken X, Sword of the Berserk: Gut's Rage and Blue Stinger. Maken X works the best so far, but it's hard to see what I'm doing since half the image is so distorted that it looks like my LCD was busted. There are occasional audio sync and stutter issues, but they're minor.

Double-click on your primary audio device to bring up the speaker/headphones properties dialog, and navigate to the “Advanced” tab: At the bottom of this dialog, locate the option labelled “Allow hardware acceleration of audio with this device” and uncheck this option. By default, this will be selected, causing the problems described above.

Fix for Sound distortion using new Plugin (and old), add ...

    https://github.com/p1pkin/demul/issues/363
I have been using the newest Demul and the Emulation is really beautiful, but the sound is really terrible. My PC is: GPU Nvidia 660Ti i5 2400 3.3ghz Windows 7. I use 1x scale resolution and I get a constant 60fps the entire time and yet I still get these ugly sound distortions all the time, specially using the new Plugin for DX11.
