Hi, I have HP Pavillion dv6500. I recently installed windows 7 on my laptop and everything worked just fine. But after some updates, there is no sound anymore,, I installed several drivers but not one worked. I can't restore either. And don't want to after all those updates. all you have to do is go to start>right click on my computer>choose properties>go to the hardware tab>device manager. under under devices there will be a bunch of yellow questionmarks. right click on the one that says audio, and go to update.
