    I get no sound from my SoundMax digital audio driver in Windows XP. Device manager diagnostic found no problem with the driver. Ran a diagnostic program after re-booting and tested the driver outside of Windows and got sound during the test, but still can't get sound to work in Windows. All drivers have been updated.     I found some information on the internet and I ran the system file checker and still had the problem, then I updated the Windows installer and was able to reinstall the Soundmax drivers and in the device manager it shows that Soundmax and the listed codecs and audio drivers were working properly but I still have no sound.
