    I can't understand why mkisofs can just create an iso image from an audio CD inserted in the player/recorder. The most obvious reason is that audio CDs are nothing at all like data CDs. Audio data is burned differently, has a different format on the disc, has a different track type, and it even needs to be read back differently.
