Here's a nice little overdrive circuit from MI Audio. This reflects the 2nd version of the Blues Pro, but if you want to make version 1, just jump pads 1 and 2 of each switch respectively. Should fit nicely in a 1590B.

I currently have a handful of MI Audio pedals & I am loving these things. I find that the blues pro has very little compression, reacts beautifully to picking dynamics, stacks w/ other ODs / distortions well & cleans up nicely w/ the guitars volume. Useful tone control, small, true bypass. fuzz option.
