I also have not encountered any audio issues using the latest Chrome app on my iPad for the iOS version of Memrise (both of which were updated yesterday). I also do not encounter any audio issues in my Memrise courses using Firefox Version 53.0.3 (32-bit) on my Windows 7 laptop.
