However, The mod on the German site involves Hijacking the single CD signal path inside the Audio 20 and running a lead with 3.5mm jack plug or socket outside the unit. This has to be done because the Audio 20 head unit in question will not allow selection of Aux in via the buttons on the front of the unit.

Has anyone had any success in getting the standard Audio 20 radio/cd unit to play MP3s. According to the manual it should be possible. I have tried various makes & sizes of CDs, different computers using different burning software & have tried wma format as well.

All W205/S205 C Class that did not receive the upgraded Burmester sound system got the Audio 20 (A20) as standard. As is, the A20 leaves a lot to be desired.
