The 13w7 you are paying a premium for the fancy mounting system. I am not saying they are not a nice driver , but at $1800 each you can probably do better. I know the build quality on the SI HST-15 & 18 is second to none. Both go in small boxes and are monsters. Just saying. Jl does a lot of advertising and you are paying for that.

Sure the JL amps are great with their floating-rail design, but Havoc & Devin said it best with the amps they listed. A good amp for it will be an amp the puts out 1000watts rms @ 4ohms or better. The Jl 13w7 requires about 1500 watts to power it. Can the stock alternator on a 2018 Honda Accord run a 5 channel PDX V9 or Arc Audio 1200.6 and another Class D mono amp running 1500 watts? I know in the past it can't handle Class AB amps putting out 2700 watts total.
