I have used Windows Media Player to test Dolby 5.1, and while watching Saving Private Ryan, my receiver indicates Dolby Digital and I hear the seperate channels. I will mention though that the "sound" option from the control panel still indicates that NVIDIA High Definition Audio still has only 2 audio channels.
