I also use Foobar2000 with the native ASIO drivers for the STX audio card and rip all my cd's to a lossless format, usually FLAC Frankly the quality of the recordings is now my main concern and I have started to gather remasters and better originals. Ross Martin dacs, RMA, are excellent and they all use very good op-amps, and components imho.

I've used the DACs in audio interfaces, a standalone Aune T1, a custom built DAC by a builder called Ross Martin, an ODAC and right now the heart of my studio is a Lynx Hilo. The implementation of the chip is a big deal in the Lynx Hilo, it actually uses the exact same chip as the older Aurora, but performance is markedly different.

I finally decided to upgrade my system to one with passive speakers. The system I decided to go with is a Yamaha R-S202 stereo receiver with ELAC Debut 2.0 B6.2 speakers. The DAC hasn’t changed. (It’s an old DIY Ross Martin 24-bit DAC I was gifted from a friend. I don’t think Ross Martin is in business anymore because his website is down.)
