Encoding video has always been slower than encoding audio. I don't get it! I've read that the version of FFmpeg (revision 19276) included in this final version may be buggy. Replacing DVD Flick with the older version 1.3.0.6 or replacing FFmpeg with the one from the older version is said to correct the bugs. Anyone know more?

DVD Flick 1.3.0.7. 2011-09-17. Pros: Does almost everything you need, and it's free. Cons: 4:3 and 16:9 ratios are auto, cannot select - a problem with youtube video conversions sometimes. Other Thoughts: Mine WAS slow, took longer to burn than to watch. That was with 7yo pentium 3 pc.

Separate the process in two steps... first encoding than the burn. To do that, untick Burn project to disc in DVD Flick Project Settings/Burning Verify the DVD Video files with a software player before burnig to disc to rule out the encoding part.
