Denon's flagship AVR-5600 receiver impressed me mightily last year. The company's foray into more affordable Dolby Digital territory is the smaller and more modest-looking AVR-3200. It offers 85 watts per channel all around in multichannel modes and includes a handful of surround options in addition to its Dolby Digital and digital-domain Pro ...

The Denon AVR-2300W is better than its talented predecessor, and delivers a fuss-free user experience. There was advanced digital processing and an RF input to accept the new-fangled Dolby Digital from Laserdisc. Despite chunky proportions the AVR-3200 had just five channels – all that was required – each rated at a heady 70W.

Denon AVR-3000 A/V Receivers. I own this receiver for almost 30 years. I once wanted to get rid of it because I have another newer receiver for my system. But I changed my mind to keep it for 2-channel stereo listening. The sound is clear, crisp and solid. Unfortunately, I made a mistake that somehow I broke it.

For the money this Denon AVR-3000 has been good and never a problem and at less than $100.00 a year for good sounds what else can I say. I have had many speakers hooked to this Denon,JBL-L3, Polks, Advents and the first speakers IMC's and with some new bookshelf speakers and minor upgrades I think the AVR-3000 will last years to come.

The AVR-3300 is updateable when required for future technology changes (7.1., etc). The remote is far from easy to figure out and this is even more frustrating since the manual is "sketchy" (although long). It took me about 7 hours to figure out the Denon (and only 5 to figure out the Yammy which I tried first).

Denon AVR-3600 A/V Receivers. DESCRIPTION. 5 ch. Dolby AC-3, ProLogic, 90W x5 ch. [May 13, 2020] hooptytrix. Strength: I truly do not use this receiver to it's true potential/intended purpose. I'm still 5.2 with a need for quality DA and DSP and can take care of my 2nd zone and control all of it with an app on my phone.

I own the Denon 3200 wich I really like, specially that six channel input, but have a little bit of a problem with power. Although its a great amp and powerful my speakers are power hungry ( Paradigm Reference LCR 450 wich have 85db sensitivity according to Stereophile review instead of the specified 90db wich is for room response, gofigure) .
