i didnt have a 9090 but I did have a 9090db, and they are one of the nicer machines ive had, ended up trading mine for infinity kappa6/paradigm sub/200 in cash, considering kappas have a part out value of 500, i'd say yeah, 600 is a good deal for a 9090. i ended up getting around 1000 for mine if you look at what i could get for the other stuff i got in trade.

I'm wading through my second "hard broke" 8080DB and have rebuilt a 9090 and 890 (8080 in black). Get the DB. With moderate soldering skills you can replace the fusible resistors (the reason the 8080DB on my bench wouldn't come out of protection) and the three 1Ω 1/2 watt resistors on the power supply board that give problems.
