OOOOOOOh, now I get it. A "chapters" menu item appears on the menu bar (between 'window' and 'help'. Whew, that was confusing! I figured it out. The Chapter menu is context sensitive. Just selecting the Audiobook will not work. You have to start playing the Audiobook, then the Chapter menu appears.
