I have an Antec 1200 with the front audio header plugged into my Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer. I do not hear any static, but if I move the mouse, I get some sort of crosstalk and I can hear a static noise. But this only happens when I am moving the mouse. It is annoying to use when browsing the web or playing games, but with movies it is fine.

It doesn't matter how nice your case is (Antec 900 is a great case btw), you always risk introducing noise to your clean audio signal. It's good practice to NOT use front panel jacks in general. Convenience is no price to pay for a good sounding setup, IMO. no, its because 97.5% of case makers use cheap shit in their FP. even on $200 cases.

That's when I saw the audio ports at the front-top of my Antec 900. Thought to myself, hey. Never tried these before. With my headphones plugged in on the back, I plug my speakers in on the front.
