    I have received my first Zune HD32 as a gift from my daughter...after 5 yrs of using my Zune30, with no issues at all, I am pleased with the ZuneHD so far but.....The sound output is lacking vs the Zune30.     Then, for no apparent reason, the sound has completely cut out. After re-inputting the headphones and turning on/off, eventually sound came back only to go again the next day. Opened up the zune to make sure nothing had come loose inside and nothing looks to have. Plugged in headphones whilst case open and sound worked again.

    I assume that's because applying a custom EQ means running a real-time filter on the audio output, and that must chew up power.
