    The narrow polar pattern of most MTM arrangements favor the tweeter positioned at seated ear level for best sound. The SB12.3 cabinets are 46" high because Zaph wanted the MTM tweeter to be at ear level (36"-39") . A TM polar pattern can be slightly angled upward to cover a wider seated + standing height range.
