Based on my experience there is a good chance that a stock YS-Audio Symphonies pre-amplifier equals the Audio Note M-One, a (+/-) 1500 dollar pre-amp - at least it will get you close. Amplifiers like the 'Symphonies' are maybe not the best designs and experts may frown upon the circuitry, but that does not mean it does not represent good value.

The folks at YS Audio began with a remaining MK3 chassis they had, but constructed a new chrome plated copper top plate to accomodate the the top mounted tubes and power switch.
