I know this because I tested the same setup with Google Hangouts and there's no problem at all with the audio. All I did in Google Hangouts was select XSplit as the webcam and the Black Magic Audio In as the Mic and it worked just fine. So my suggestion to anyone else is to test your webcam in a different application like google hangouts.
