    Installed new X1 box using HDMI. Good picture, NO sound. I disconnected the HDMI cable from the X1 box and plugged into my HDMI DVD player with movie playing -- Good picture, GOOD sound. This verifies my system is not the problem. Disconnected from DVD player and connected back into X1 box -- Good picture, NO sound. The fault is in the X1 box.

    First thing I would recommend is go into your Cable/Sat Box settings menu and check what your audio output is set to.
