I then have the HDMI out go to a converter before going to the TV. The converter allows for optical out with 5.1 DD. This optical out goes to my A50 reciever so I don't have to change cables and can listen to any source automatically. The Wii U, PS4, PS3, 360, PC all work great, but the Xbox One cuts in and out.
