Kodi 15 and "Sync playback to display" setup

Exactly! Sync Playback to Display is still there, but it's "Video Clock" by default and makes only sense when "Resample Audio" is chosen as method. This was not removed nor changed. Edit. Passthrough Audio cannot be resampled, cause it is *you guess it* passed through packetsize wise. Removed was the Sync Playback to Display with "Audio Clock".

I found that in Video -> Playback I had to disable Sync playback to display and the AV sync method set to Resample audio. The videos affected will now only play with Sync playback to display disabled when in the past this has always been on. There is something not right. Was working fine last night.

The audio is connected to my on-board sound card (motherboard: Gigabyte P35-DS3L). I tried VirtualDub 1.8 and VirtualVCR, both *with* the "dynamically resample audio to sync to video" option checked, but it won't solve the issue. in VirtualDub 1.8: [ ] drop frames when captured frames are too close together

Select to allow passthrough audio for playback of compressed audio such as Dolby Digital (AC3), DTS, etc. The Client of the AudioEngine might decide to decode the audio stream under certain conditions. I believe the ErrorAdjust message might be explained by audio and video clocks drifting by 27ms every 325 seconds. i.e. off by 83ppm. I think that is within typical crystal oscillator tolerances so might be expected with an external sound card (e.g. USB). "sync playback to display" allows this to be corrected through resampling (for non-passthrough) but that isn't …
