    yeah i had mkv problems when using MCE the problem is some of the mkv files are decoded wrong and also sometimes my atom processor couldnt handle it. with xbmc never had a movie not work also changing subtitles and language is breeze as well especially if you have iphone or ipad download the app called commander totally recommend it.
