    The X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCIe worked fine under both 7 and Vista, but I had issues with my original load of 7 and so re-loaded 7. After re-load the sound worked for several weeks, but starting this week, the 7 boot has no sound, including no Windows startup sound. 7 sees the card, no exclamation points and says the device is working properly.
