I right-clicked on a .wtv file (an ABC network show recorded off an antenna) and converted it to dvr-ms using Windows 7 Home Premium 64. The video is fine , but there is no audio--good audio in the original. Same probelm with a second conversion. I have successfully converted files this way in the past. System file checker found no problem.

The .wtv works in WMC and WMP just fine, when I use Win7 built in support for .wtv > .dvr-ms conversion the output .dvr-ms has no audio stream it seems, I checked with MediaInfo and there is no audio stream listed but the fact that no audio plays from it in any player was already a pretty good indication of the problem.
