The issue you may have with Windows WSJT-X Tx audio levels is due to the "Pwr" slider in WSJT-X no longer being linked to the Windows mixer control for the Tx audio device. This means that you must set the mixer slider manually, this should be a one-time operation. Setting the mixer control is a two step operation.

I've tried different devices, different audio adapters and so on. The program simply doesn't put out audio when in TX mode. TX audio works fine when the windows build of WSJT-X is ran through Wine. Audio inputs and outputs work great. However, wine doesn't work well with USB devices and as such rig control does not function.

One day WSJT-X worked, two days later it didn't. No waterfall, no decode. Checked Settings for General, Radio, Audio (had saved screenshots months ago). No RX even after changing settings to default per the user guide. However the sample wav files receive properly. TX still works too, evidenced by PSKreporter spots.

WSJT-X is working fine on rx. I am not getting any output from WSJT-X on tx. I observe no output when I click Tune - no audio when radio Monitor is on, and no output if I take the sound card output to a speaker. The sound card works. I have tried this with an Elecraft and an internal sound card and an FT1000mp and an external sound card.

Only the Tx audio stream from WSJT-x to the Flex 6600M via SmartSDR DAX disconnects after sitting idle. After setting the Windows 10 power management to "never sleep" and disabling the Windows "USB Selective Suspend" function, my system no longer disconnects as long a I do not reboot the computer.
