Uninstalled WMP11 which rolled back to WMP9 and then reinstalled WMP11. Still no audio with both. Audio and DVD work perfectly with Real Player and WinDVD so just don't know why WMP11 won't play audio but will play video. Seems to give a small 'click' sound when starting to play an MP3. Would appreciate any other suggestions.

I have uninstalled WMP11 and installed WMP10 and that didn't work. I then uninstalled WMP10 and installed WMP11 again. That didn't work. I went to device manager and ran through all the sound drivers.

Audio Codec: Windows Media Audio 9 Voice 10 kbps, 11 kHz, mono I don't know any other website that uses this codec so I couldn't test, but since my computer can play it in the admin account I don't think it's a missing codec.
