I am experiencing exactly the same problem as smithron99. When I open the sample .dvr-ms files that came with vista (or ones that I record off the air using Media Center) in Movie Maker 6.0, only the audio will play, the video shows up as a green screen. The .dvr-ms files do play properly in Media Center or in Media Player.
