    Media Center HDMI Audio Works Partially Running Windows 7 Ultimate on an HP laptop. The HDMI port on the laptop is connected to my 1080p HDTV. The sound works great through the HDMI when I move through the menus. The sound is NOT coming through the laptop speakers. It's clearly coming through the HDMI cable and the HDTV.

Now if I go back to Audio Devices available and select Intel HDMI and change it to 2CH. I then get full audio and 5.1 from the mpeg movies through Media center.
