    I have checked the remote Desktop computer and the sounds works locally. I have noted that when on remote the sound goes to "Remote Audio" on the Desktop which is turned up to maximum and cannot find any other settings. Also have tried the other way round i.e. making the remote Desktop PC the access Laptop PC with just the same problem, no sound!

    Media Monkey has exclusive control of sound and native digital audio is sent from Windows 7 PC via an HDMI cable to an external audio processor and from there to speakers. Restarting Media Monkey or the external audio processor does not fix the problem. Tapping the remote keyboard starts audio playing!
