Ironically, Wilmslow's K100 are very liked in the asian hifi community. Had the pleasure to hear a revisited K50 in Thailand and it sounded absolutely great. I will probably go to wilmslow if I'm somewhere near UK in the next years. I stay tuned. Whats even more impressive is that the demo room i heard them in was very far from perfect conditions.

The last communication we had was way before my wilmslow audio k100 (this thread) where you quoted me prices for atc scm40s and jl subs. When i said im not convinced about subs with floor standers you said then that you wished you never wasted your time getting ne the prices. It was then that i decided to go ahead and build kit speakers.

When I went to WA to listen to it, I was hoping to compare it to the K50 or K100, but they didn’t have any built up, there were a pair of Prestige in the same room as the TL12. I took along a stack of CDs that I know really well, and that I've always suspected can sound a lot better than they have done on my previous speakers.

They were orginally Castle Harlech S1, but at approx 23 years old were due for an upgrade. WA replaced the old drivers with Monacor SPH-135C and Scanspeak D2905/950000 units, plus changed the capacitors & wiring.
