Personally I never bother with the BT Audio because you can't control the Iphone (or Ipod) via the RCD310 except for volume, B/T Audio is just wireless AUX. If you have the Media Interface its well worth getting the correct genuine VAG cable to connect the Iphone directly then the radio controls can be used to select tracks, playlists etc.

However, I cannot stream any audio, despite the phone being connected. I have an RCD310, and there is a Bluetooth Audio Source setting that you can either turn on or off. I turned mine on however it seems to do nothing. The only options I get when I push the media button are CD or MDI, no BT Audio.
