    The guy at CPL said that for the optical drive I no longer needed a 4 pin audio cable for the DVD drive in order for sound to work in Vista. Does this sound correct? To me it doesn't. Even the drives intallation instructions make reference to the audio cable to be attached to the m/b or soundcard.
