So you go the VirtualDub normal Mode, open (or drag) your file then go to the "Frame Rate" options : tick "Change so audio and video durations match".

Resync mode - - - - - - - - - - - Do not resync between audio and video streams. This mode disables auto-resync. VirtualDub won't monitor the a/v input for a/v timing errors, therefore sync quality depends on the timing accuracy of your input. Moral: connect your TBC.

Unfortunately, the rendered video will have the audio slightly delayed. I tried fixing it with virtualdub, but didn't work. Is there a good and simple alternative (maybe even a command line tool) which simply shifts the audio back eg. -150ms? I also tried Handbrake but it doesn't seem to have this feature.

The audio isn't in sync in the capture file. It's what we get for putting audio and video capture on separate clocks. If you are running VirtualDub 1.4c or earlier, check the Knowledge Base for a possible workaround if your sound card isn't very accurate. (This problem will be fixed in V1.4d.)
