No audio when capturing with VirtualDub - digitalFAQ Forum

    http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/video-capture/5522-audio-capturing-virtualdub.html
I tried to do a capture test with the Virtualdub mod that I got from here (virtualdub 1.9.11 + Filters) but it crashed my computer on both attempts. I got it to work with the regular vdub app. I go to the capture section, and I can see my videotape playing, so at least I got that part right. However. I've got no audio. Help?

Audio pitch issues with Virtualdub - Speed Demos Archive

    https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/audio_pitch_issues_with_virtualdub.html
I did a quick search of the forums but did not notice anyone with this particular problem. It seems that every time I use VirtualDub to record video from my Dazzle, the audio's pitch shifts randomly. There's no desync between video and audio, and as far as I can tell, neither the video nor the audio is speeding up or slowing down.

I basically started VirtualDub in college to do some quick capture-and-encoding that I wanted done; from there it's basically grown into a more general utility that can trim and clean up video before exporting to ...

VirtualDub2 [Archive] - Page 4 - Doom9's Forum

Sounds like VirtualDub just literally splits the file output, rather than creating two valid AVI files. The index would be in the second half (it's also always written on abort, I believe, making an aborted file valid), and the second half would not contain any headers. I …

How to fix audio-video VHS sync in VirtualDub ...

    http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/video-capture/11160-how-fix-audio.html
The sync issue is caused by the unstable video signal, (frames are dropped) removing the audio in any way won't change that. capturing the audio forms no problem for a poor setup, using an internal SSD drive will help only if data throughput is the real problem like said, a throughput device could help, a near lossless capture codec could also help with data …

Unable to capture audio using VirtualDub or DScaler

    https://forum.speeddemosarchive.com/post/unable_to_capture_audio_using_virtualdub_or_dscaler.html
2011-01-29 12:33:14 pm. I recently picked up a Dazzle DVC-100 as well and haven't been able to capture audio with it in DScaler or VirtualDub either. I researched it and apparently neither of those programs work with Dazzle series cards above DVC-90 when running Vista or Windows 7 (though they work fine in XP).
