first you need to have sp1 installed. 2nd when you installed the vm did pick Windows Vista as the OS? You need to do this for Windows 7 to install properly and to give you sound. Also you have to have the vm additions too installed. Some of the additions are working some are not as i have found. Actually i had a real wierd thing happen.
