Even when I play the song with a controller or not it does not start to record. If I set it to autostart record, the recording is blank. Unless your controller has dedicated record loopbac input , you should remove the record line in VDJ Audio setup if you use Master. - HW profile in use (controller, soundboard, ...)

djdad PRO Infinity Development Manager Member since 2005 VirtualDJ will record the "record" assigned input channel, and if not specified, it will record the "master" assigned output. When not controller is connected, and a "record" input was specified in your previous setup, you may need to manually delete the "record" line in the audio setup.

I have been recording mixes problem free for months now and I just updated Virtual DJ, now, when I press record it records for a second or two, then the timecode freezes (the one showing how long i've been recording for). I then have to press stop record, but it only recorded whatever was happening up until the timecode froze. Any help?

Reinstall it. Turn it off. Set your destination in Documents and also set your Sampler Pad up that doesn't work when it's closed either. You can't do much of anything. When your done setting Virtual DJ back up turn it back on. Not SURE if you are hijacked or not just make sure you block ports 1-65535 Incoming both TCP AND UDP. And port 8000.
