The Vincent gives an enveloping sound with lots of detail, while lead vocals are rendered in a suitably plaintive way and really captures the mood. In absolute terms it’s far from perfect, of course, yet the slight narrowing down of depth perspective doesn’t diminish any of the enjoyment during the time I spend with it.

The Vincent SV-737 feels like a German version of the best Parasound Integrated Amplifiers which I think would make it very appealing for a lot of audiophiles. The John Curl-designed products offer very similar features and excellent value for the money. The Parasound amplifiers offer greater transparency but also less color overall.

Vincent’s SP-331 is a robust and beautifully made 150Wpc stereo power amp that uses two 6N16 tubes to drive two banks of 6 output transistors sourced from Toshiba. Let me not mince words: The SP-331 is the best-sounding sub-$1000 amplifier I’ve yet heard, and I therefore regard it as one of the sweetest deals in high-end audio today. Here’s why.

Vincent "offers two 'electrical concepts,'" states the Vincent website. "One side is solid state transistor products. The other is a hybrid technology featuring vacuum tubes on the input stages combined with solid state transistors in the output stage." The Vincent Audio SV-737 integrated amplifier ($3499.95) is on the hybrid side.

I've had the Vincent SP 332 Power Amp for about 2 years and I have been very satisfied. It sounds great in my system and drives my Revel Performa F-206s with ease. In particular the bass performance is notably better than the Parasound amp that it replaced. Another plus is that it is built like a tank. mofojo 1,414 posts 04-21-2021 1:39pm

Rogue Audio vs Vincent Audio - Audiogon Discussion Forum

    https://forum.audiogon.com/discussions/rogue-audio-vs-vincent-audio
I once owned a Vincent SV-226 and thought it to be a very good integrated. Authoritative bass, smooth articulate mids and treble. Wish I had never sold it. I have not heard the SV-500. If needing a phonostage and your Vincent plays well with your speakers I would keep it and spend on the phonostage.
