Re: usher 701 kit - baffle step? Yes, there is. It is in the combination of the 1.8mH inductor, the 11uf capacitor, and the impedance of the driver. For what it's worth I doubt that your baffle change will result in having to modify the crossover, especially if the speaker is free standing and away from boundaries.
