Well, I finished my car audio dock cable last night. I tested all connections and everything seemed good. I can switch between USB 3.0 audio devices directly on the computer all day with no issues, so the problem is following the docking station not the computer or its USB 3.0 driver. I suppose it could be some issue with the windows driver that only occurs when using a docking station but that seems unlikely.

does it get triggerd to go into analog audio if so whats the triger on the usb A connector. if you make the cable just dont use the audio side all u need is a usb cable resistor and micro connector for the custom side for s3. i could make you one easily.. but if it got pluged into a regular usb port it could be bad.

And i dont believe that kinda huge price, in consideration for what i use it for (i aint gonna use it as desktop replacement), is justifiable for me. It wouldnt be considered that difficult in a technical aspect, because usb c does support audio playback. either the dock would pull the audio via usb c or the 3.5mm headphone jack.
