    The design is based around the PCM2706 USB interface chip from TI and is able to output as I2S. The output of the 2706 feeds into a SRC4192 where the signal is reclocked, before being fed into a PCM1794. The 4 power supplies are based on the ALW super reg.     Those USB C headphone dongles vary enormously in quality it seems. I'm going to try a "diy" ish one - the codec (DAC+AMP) is CS42L42 and USB receiver is SA9302. It's fingernail sized stuff. The package is Savitech ST2213.
