Hello, I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 Notebook with SigmaTel 9200 Audio Chipset. Under Ubuntu 8.04 the sound works fine with the integrated speakers, but no sound signal will be sent over S/PDIF, which is connected over the SVHS-Port with a coaxial cable to my sound-system (working fine under Windows XP).
