Was surprised to see my audio so far out of sync on 8.04 with Flash 10, fairly brand new install, quad-core dell, vmware 6.5.1, ensonic alsa... Tried FF and Swiftfox.. both an issue. Have tried the fixes on page1, and it 'seems' better but not right still. Guess maybe I'll try pulse audio and give that a go.
