    If I have a track with multiple regions - say a vocal comp - I get different results if I (1) consolidate first and then turn off elastic audio vs. (2) turning off elastic audio then consolidating. I haven't nailed it down consistently yet, but there is definitely junk introduced - timing slop and even some clicks.
