tsMuxer + TrueHD = garbled sound. I am trying to do a BD-25 movie only backup of The Nightmare Before Christams, US edition, using tsMuxer. It has a 7.1 TrueHD sound track. The backup BD has garbled sound, basically pops and crackles. There are some earlier threads on Doom9 that say earlier versions of tsMuxer could not handle TrueHD.

I'm having issues muxing truehd audio streams with h264 streams using tsMuxeR 1.10.6. Resulting .m2ts file, or bluray/avchd structures, stutters and jumps every few seconds. Heard early versions of tsMuxeR had issues with truehd streams. Is this still a problem? Any alternatives? I'd like to keep untouched audio.

I have had the same problem with dts-hd. Tsmuxer works great to down convert truehd audio, but for some reason it does not work for dts-hd for me. I think I resolved this by running the .m2ts file through eac3to to convert the audio to .ac3 and then muxed this file to the video file with tsmuxer.
